Paul Muzio has over 40 years of experience in High Performance Computing. He was the founding director of the City University of New York’s HPC Research Center. He previously held the positions of Vice President, HPC at Network Computing Systems, Inc.; Infrastructure Director at the Army High Performance Computing Research Center; and Director, Special Systems at Grumman Aerospace Corp. In those positions, he oversaw the acquisition and management of the first production Cray X1, the first Thinking Machines CM-5, and numerous other systems, including CRAY-1M, CRAY T3E-1200, and IBM SPs. He was a founding member and long time chair of the HPC User Forum.
