The Forefront of Computing
High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) represent the forefront of computing and are at the heart of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, whether in public research labs, industrial R&D, or cloud computing, with applications ranging across diverse fields such as climate simulation, advanced manufacturing, personalized medicine, and alternative energies. We bring these fields together in the HPC-AI Leadership Organization (HALO).
The purpose of HALO is to advance the state of the art in scalable computing, including both HPC and AI, independently or (often) in combination. By fostering cross-industry collaboration, leaders extend best practices beyond their own fields of interest and learn from one another's innovations. HALO members also help to guide the course of technology development across HPC-AI, by influencing and participating in industry research that is followed by technology vendors and policymakers. HALO members interact in regular virtual events and get access to industry data and insights from Intersect360 Research.
